Established in 2016, Akko is a peripherals company based in China. Within the Dash series of mice, the Dash Ultra sits right in the middle between the lower-tier Dash Pro and Dash Max as well as the higher-tier Dash Master. The Dash Ultra in turn comes in two different editions, differing in two aspects: the Omron Optical edition comes with Omron D2FP-FN2 switches rated for 70 million clicks, whereas the Akko Custom edition features Akko custom optical switches rated for 150 million clicks. Although both editions utilize PixArt's PAW3950 sensor, the latter edition is restricted to 30,000 CPI, whereas the former one goes all the way up to 42,000 CPI. The ambidextrous Dash Ultra weighs 44 g, with a solid shell except for four moderately large openings at the bottom. Polling rates of up to 8000 Hz are available in both wired and wireless operation. The Dash Ultra is equipped with Nordic's latest nRF54L15 MCU, allowing for up to 220 hours of battery life at 1000 Hz and up to 28 hours at 8000 Hz using 2.4 GHz wireless, with Bluetooth being an option as well. Configuration is possible either in software or conveniently through a web driver. The Dash Ultra is available either in black or white.
