Endorfy may still be a young name, but the company behind it is anything but: the Polish brand grew out of SilentiumPC, a manufacturer with a long track record in coolers, cases, and power supplies. The Solum 2 series is the second generation of its condenser microphone lineup, engineered in Poland with industrial-design support from a German studio, and it replaces the original Solum family across the board. The series launches in July 2026 with three microphones, all built around the same condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern and USB-C connectivity: the Solum 2 Core at €59.90, the Solum 2 at €69.90, and the Solum 2 Pro at €82.90.
A fourth SKU, the Solum 2 Boom Arm at €82.90, bundles the standard Solum 2 with an adjustable boom arm with hidden cable management instead of the desk stand. I have all three microphones on hand for this review, so besides evaluating the family as a whole, I'll pay special attention to what exactly each price step buys you.
Endorfy's design philosophy deserves a mention up front, because it goes against the current of most gaming-adjacent audio brands: there is no companion software, no driver installation, and no account to create. Every available feature is adjusted directly on the microphone itself, and the whole series is plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 4/5, with smartphone compatibility being one of the headline additions of this generation. Whether that minimalism is a strength or a limitation depends on the user, and I'll return to it in the conclusion.
