Established in 2003, Sharkoon is a hardware and peripherals company based in Germany. Though a fleeting glance may suggest otherwise, the SKILLER SGM70W is not an ambidextrous shape, but rather a right-handed ergonomic one, as its left side has a much deeper recession than the right one. Its weight of 49 g is achieved while retaining a fully solid shell. Internally, the SKILLER SGM70W employs PixArt's PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI, along with Huano switches rated for 100 million actuations for the main buttons. In wireless operation, polling rates of 1000, 4000, and 8000 Hz are available, and Sharkoon cites up to 70 hours of battery life at 1000 Hz and up to 23 hours at 8000 Hz. Whereas most mice come with PTFE feet, the SKILLER SGM70W features ones made of glass, which offer superior durability. There is no software, but adjusting CPI steps and polling rate is possible through on-device configuration.
