With computational photography changing modern workflows and dedicated cameras still providing superior image quality, the Caira aims to split the difference with an innovative feature set. Its lightweight aluminum body holds a Sony Micro Four Thirds sensor and an interchangeable lens mount, as well as a MagSafe ring for instant connection to an iPhone. A companion app allows for control, editing, and sharing, while a built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon and a Google Edge TPU for running their Nano Banana model, bring real-time generative editing straight into the camera. The Caira is fully funded on Kickstarter now and is expected to begin shipping in January 2026.
