1: Launched in London with water, the first and fastest of cats was gone in six months.

Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah

Launched in London (Apple’s launch party was held at Micro Anvika in London) with water (Aqua), the first and fastest of cats (a cheetah) was gone in six months (released 24 March 2001, succeeded by 10.1 Puma on 25 September 2001).

2: Tony sold us a pair of arms and a thousand songs in 1.8 inches.

Tony (it was developed under the lead of Tony Fadell) sold us a pair of arms (its PortalPlayer processor has two Arm cores) and a thousand songs (originally marketed as “1,000 songs in your pocket”) in 1.8 inches (its initial internal storage was a 1.8″ 5 GB hard disk).

3: Inch-thin titanium brought the first low-power G4 with 15 inches.

Inch-thin (it’s only one inch thick) titanium (it was the first Titanium PowerBook) brought the first low-power G4 (it has the PPC 7410 processor, the first low power G4) with 15 inches (its 15.2 inch display delivers 1152 x 768 pixels).
