The Position
We are looking for approximately 3-4 teaching assistants (amanuenses) who, when needed and by agreement, will assist course coordinators in their teaching. The tasks can involve lesson teaching, lab supervision, correction of reports and maintenance of technical equipment. The tasks can also include a simpler form of administration and assistance in research projects.
The person we need
To be eligible for employment as an amanuens, you must be admitted to a university-level education at either undergraduate or advanced level.
It is considered an advantage if you are studying at an advanced level at Linköping University and have successfully completed relevant courses offered by the Division of Fluid and Mechatronic Systems. Previous teaching experience and availability for assignments throughout the academic year 2026/2027 are considered especially meritorious.
The position is directly linked to the courses for which the department is responsible. The duties are varied and may arise at short notice, requiring flexibility and availability at the university. You should also be responsible, meticulous, service-oriented, and possess good pedagogical skills, as well as an interest in the subject area.
Your Workplace
The Division of Fluid and Mechatronic Systems is part of the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI) and belongs to the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The division is responsible for undergraduate education within the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program (300 credits), as well as the master's programs in Mechanical Engineering (120 credits) and Aeronautical Engineering (120 credits).
About the Employment
Extent and starting date are to be agreed upon.
Employment as an amanuens is regulated by Chapter 5 of the Swedish Higher Education Ordinance.
Salary and Benefits
Salary in accordance with Linköping University's central agreement on amanuens wages. The position is hourly paid.
