To manage the volunteer operation, Marc hired Zone Leads to oversee the different areas volunteers would be working. But with 23 days and two volunteer shifts per day, the scheduling load was significant: "I needed a system nimble enough to make quick changes and simple enough that anyone on my team could pick it up and use it."

There was a legacy system available, but adapting it wasn't realistic: "In theory, we could have adapted the tools we already had to meet our needs. But that path meant meetings, approvals, conversations with IT, time we simply didn't have. So I started the way everyone else does: I googled scheduling systems, and Workfeed came up."

What convinced Marc to give Workfeed a shot? "The honest answer is the 14-day free trial. I knew that at minimum I'd be able to build a visual schedule we could actually use for the temporary Zone Leads, with no commitment and no procurement conversation. Getting set up took no time at all: "So easy. The system is intuitive and easy to navigate. The YouTube videos helped, but for anyone with any amount of scheduling experience, Workfeed is a breeze. It requires very little upfront input, and the copy-and-paste feature is excellent."

And once the Fan Festival kicked off, one feature stood out above the rest: "The app, by far, specifically the ability for an admin to make changes and create anything in Workfeed exactly as they would on desktop. When you're on-site at a Fan Festival, you're not at a desk."
