SpawnBox 1.3.1 - Pro costs less, the trial lasts longer, ...
SpawnBox · 2026-07-26 · via SpawnBox Releases

Pro is now $9 a month with tax included, the trial runs a full week instead of 48 hours, and subscription messages moved out of the main view.

This one is mostly about being straight with you. We cut the price of Pro, gave the trial enough room to actually be useful, and fixed a few places where the app was either shouting at you or quietly telling you something untrue.

Pro costs less, and the price you see is the price you pay

Pro is now $9 a month, $90 a year, or $24 for a 90 day Season Pass.

The bigger change is that tax is included. Before, you would see one number and get charged a larger one at checkout depending on where you live. Now the number on the pricing page is the total, wherever you are. We would rather absorb the difference than surprise you at the last step.

The trial is a full week now

The Pro trial used to run for 48 hours. That sounded generous on paper and was not, in practice: Minecraft is a weekend hobby, and getting friends to actually turn up, get connected, and play together rarely fits inside two days.

It is 7 days now. Enough time to get your server set up, get more of your players connected, and get a proper feel for whether the Pro features are something you want.

Subscription messages stopped taking over the app

If your Pro had lapsed, or you were running more servers than your plan covers, we were showing you full width banners across the top of the app. Up to three could stack at once, pushing everything you actually came to do down the page.

Those messages now live in your account menu, next to the rest of your account details. The menu opens itself once when there is something new for you to see, and after that it stays out of your way. Nothing is hidden, it is just no longer parked on top of your servers.

The task tray is honest about backups it could not confirm

When SpawnBox restarts while a backup is running, it can lose track of whether that backup finished. It usually did finish. We were showing those as a red Failed anyway.

That is a bad thing to tell someone about their world. The task tray now says Unconfirmed for these, in amber, with a plain explanation. Genuine failures still say Failed in red, so the distinction actually means something.

Clearing finished tasks now sticks

Cleared tasks were coming back. Two separate causes, both ours: we were throwing away your dismissals while the task list was still loading, and the list was confusing repeat runs of the same backup for one another.

Clear the tray now and it stays clear, including after a restart.
