Skagen Clothing – From growth to structured operations.
Kristian Emil Larsen · 2026-03-25 · via Workfeed

Skagen Clothing has undergone an impressive journey, evolving from a small setup to managing its own warehouse, permanent retail stores, and numerous pop-up concepts. To support this growth, Workfeed was the very first system they implemented for workforce management.

The Problem.

As Skagen Clothing expanded, the need arose to manage a large number of hourly-paid employees across multiple locations. The challenge was finding a system precise enough for payroll accounting yet simple enough for young employees to use without extensive training.

"Workfeed was actually the first system we implemented when we transitioned from a smaller setup to running our own warehouse and later stores with several hourly-paid employees,"
- Alberte Petra Solvang from Skagen Clothing.

The solution was a platform that centralizes everything from scheduling to geographically restricted time tracking (geofencing).

  • Intuitive for Everyone: The system requires no manual, which is essential in a fast-paced environment.

  • Geofencing: Employees can only clock in when they are physically present at the site.

  • Role Allocation: By assigning roles like "warehouse," "store," or "office," payroll processing becomes automated.

"It was important to us that both our younger workers and other employees could quickly understand the system without training. And they did," Alberte Petra Solvang explains. "The ability to check in/out within a specific geographic area gives us peace of mind, especially on days when employees are working alone."

Today, Skagen Clothing uses Workfeed as the backbone of their operations, whether for permanent stores or temporary pop-up locations.

  • Rapid Onboarding: New teams for pop-up shops are up and running in minutes.
  • Enhanced Overview: Management can plan schedules far in advance without publishing shifts immediately.
  • Daily Flexibility: Last-minute changes to the schedule are handled on the go, saving hours of administrative work.
  •

"The biggest difference is the flexibility in our daily routine. It’s incredibly easy to update schedules if changes arise, and it saves us a lot of time," concludes Alberte Petra Solvang.
