The Apply AI Summit will gather high-level stakeholders – from industrial representatives, policymakers and startups – to accelerate AI implementation in strategic industries.

The Apply AI Summit marks the 1-year adoption of the Apply AI Strategy, concluding the first European AI Innovation Month – a series of online and in-person events showcasing AI innovation and adoption across Europe. This hybrid event event takes place on 17 November 2026, at the EGG (Brussels) and online, combining physical and virtual activities via a Virtual Conference Platform.

The Summit will showcase how trustworthy, human-centric and innovative AI can boost the competitiveness of sectors such as healthcare, mobility and the public sector. Concrete European use cases from various sectors already relying on homegrown AI models and systems will be highlighted to demonstrate their real socio-economic impact. These discussions will contribute to the implementation of the Apply AI Strategy and turning Europe into an AI Continent.

At this event, the European Commission will gather 900 stakeholders to engage in discussions about accelerating the adoption of AI in strategic sectors. Participants will take part of activities such as:

  • Gateway sessions exploring the Apply AI Strategy
  • Insight trails discussions, deep diving into cross-sectoral issues and sectoral adoption of AI
  • Sessions at the crossroads of sectoral uptake and innovation, complemented by hands-on exhibitions, and the first edition of the Apply AI Startup Award (follow the pitching sessions with the top 10 finalists).
  • Panels providing new horizons on strategic topics such as Frontier AI and technological sovereignty

Parallel to the physical summit, the virtual conference platform will take the form of an Atlas of the European AI Continent. It will host up to 2 500 participants offering livestreaming of some on-site sessions and the possibility to learn more about the EU AI Innovation ecosystem and engage in diverse discussions across different sectors and stakeholders.

Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Technological Sovereignty, Security, and Democracy, will be the special host of the event. You can look at all confirmed speakers.

More details on the sessions and speakers are also available on the registration page (deadline 13 November). Spots are limited, do not delay your application.
