Enrica Porcari has joined the CERN & Society Foundation Board, following nomination as CERN representative by the Director-General. She replaces former resource coordinator at the ATLAS experiment, Fido Dittus, who came to the end of his term earlier in the year.

Enrica Porcari is currently Chief Information Officer at CERN and a member of the senior leadership team. Previously Head of the Information Technology (IT) Department, she brings over 20 years of experience in strategy execution, global operations and digital transformation across international organisations, including the World Food Programme and CGIAR. She contributes to the Foundation a strong commitment to leveraging science and technology for inclusive, large-scale societal impact.

On her appointment, Porcari says:
