The new Jackery HomePower Series models

Jackery

Portable power specialist Jackery has unveiled a refreshed HomePower Series alongside a slim refrigerator backup system, plus a co-branded emergency initiative with the American Red Cross aimed at frontline response teams.

At the center of the bumper launch announcement is the new HomePower Series, a three-tier lineup built around LiFePO4 battery architecture rated for around 6,000 cycles, or roughly 16 years of daily use under typical conditions.

The top-end HomePower 3600 Pro Max is the brand’s most aggressive step into whole-home backup. It starts at 3,584Wh of capacity and scales all the way up to 43kWh with expansion batteries.

Output sits at 4,000W with support for both 120V and 240V operation, which means it can handle heavier household loads such as air conditioning, water heaters, sump pumps and refrigerators without needing to prioritize only essentials.

When paired with a Manual Transfer Switch, the system’s 9,600W bypass circuit is designed to support full home integration with automatic switchover behavior that mimics dedicated home battery systems, but without the same infrastructure overhead.

Fast charging is also part of the pitch, with AC and high-current input options capable of restoring the unit in as little as 80 minutes.

The mid-tier HomePower 2000 Plus v2 is aimed more at households that want expandability without committing to full installation complexity. It starts at 2,048Wh and scales up to 12kWh with stackable batteries.

At the entry level, the HomePower 1000 v2 is designed more like a high-capacity UPS for modern homes. It delivers 1,024Wh with a 1,500W output and includes 3kV surge protection aimed at sensitive electronics such as routers and modems.

Both the 1000 v2 and 2000 Plus v2 feature sub-10ms switchover performance, alongside a system Jackery calls Priority Routing, which gradually shuts down non-essential loads as capacity drops to extend runtime where it matters most.

The more unusual product in the lineup is FridgeGuard, and it is arguably the clearest indication of where the category is heading next, and follows a recent similar launch from Jackery’s rival Bluetti.

Jackery

Instead of serving as a general-purpose battery, it is designed specifically for refrigerators, sitting inline between the wall outlet and the appliance in a permanently installed form factor.

Inside, FridgeGuard uses a 1,024Wh battery with up to 15 hours of runtime for a typical refrigerator load, extendable to around 30 hours with an expansion battery.

It supports a 1,600W compressor surge to handle fridge start-up loads and uses a 10ms UPS switchover to prevent interruptions during outages. Under normal conditions, it runs in bypass mode, feeding grid power directly through to preserve battery health until needed.

Jackery is positioning FridgeGuard as a more design-led, permanent-installation option, with a Costco exclusive launch price of $559.99, down from a $699.99 MSRP, clearly aimed at early household adoption rather than niche emergency use.

Alongside the consumer lineup, Jackery is also launching a long-term initiative with the American Red Cross under a campaign called Power the Rescuers. This introduces a co-branded HomePower Emergency Pro Series, finished in a high-visibility rescue-red design intended for field use.

These units mirror the consumer HomePower range but are tuned for disaster response scenarios. They include features such as automated pre-charging based on severe weather alerts and an emergency power lock that reserves a user-defined portion of battery capacity for critical use only.

Jackery is also committing to donate 10 percent of profits from Red Cross Edition units in the form of mobile power equipment for frontline organizations, including firefighters, EMTs, utility crews, shelter teams and volunteer response groups.

The consumer HomePower lineup and FridgeGuard are set to launch from June 23, 2026, through Jackery’s website and Amazon, with introductory pricing running until June 26.
