The International Indian Institute of Information Technology announced that it has opened applications for admission to its B.Tech and five year Integrated M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2026–27. The admission to all listed programmes will be conducted through a common application process, said the institution.

The university offered undergraduate programmes for admission including B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS). The postgraduate programmes include Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Integrated M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

The institution stated that admissions to the programmes at IIIT-B are not to be conducted through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). It has asked the candidates to review the admission guidelines, eligibility criteria, and selection process details available on the official admissions portal.

IIIT-B’s undergraduate and integrated postgraduate programmes are designed to combine academics with research and industry exposure. The B.Tech. programme helps students build strong fundamentals while offering options to specialise through Honours or explore related fields through a Minor.

The five-year Integrated M.Tech. programme allows students to specialise in two areas, with coursework in the first four years followed by projects or higher-study focused learning.

Commenting on the announcement, Chandrashekar Ramanathan, Dean (Academics) at IIIT-B, said the programmes are designed to equip students with deep technical expertise, interdisciplinary exposure, and a strong problem-solving mindset. “We are committed to building strong foundations in technology, research, and innovation through a curriculum that is aligned with the evolving needs of industry and society,” he added.

Established in 1998, IIIT-B is a research-driven institution in India, known for its strong focus on information technology, data science, and interdisciplinary innovation.
