Sol Dean has re-entered the chat on Love Island USA after fans weren’t exactly thrilled with her comments about Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff’s connection on the reality series’ after show.

“No shade, no tea, but he probably thinks Kayda is prettier than Trinity,” Sol said of Bryce exploring a connection with Kayda Bosse after her elimination on Love Island: Aftersun. “Like, if his type did come in, I feel like he’d be like, ‘Oh my God!’”

Now, Sol has cleared up what she said during an Instagram Live stream on Sunday, June 21, the day after her Aftersun interview with hosts Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa aired.

“I literally have no hate against Trinity. Trinity is cool as fuck. We were giggling and cackling in that fucking Villa…she was cool to me,” Sol explained of her dynamic with Trinity.

She continued, “I said that Bryce thinks Kayda’s prettier, and let’s take this into consideration: Bryce went after Kayda three, four, five, six times and got rejected each time. He even told Zach that he was gonna go talk to Kayda, and Zach laughed in his
face.”

Before she hopped on Live, viewers didn’t take her initial comments about America’s favorite couple, Brinity, lightly.

“‘He probably thinks,’ oh so this is what YOU think,” one person commented under a clip of Sol’s comments, while another added, “sol i love you but this is giving hurt people hurt people energy.”

During the livestream, Sol urged fans not to misconstrue the point she was trying to make and further cleared things up about Trinity, adding, “Please don’t put words in my mouth. I genuinely think she’s a beautiful girl. I wouldn’t ever say anything hurtful or [mean], especially about her. I wouldn’t try to downplay any fucking woman of color, fucking ever. That’s just not who I am…so I literally just want to tell you guys that I think she’s fucking gorgeous.”

Well…that’s that on that, until we see Bryce and Trinity weigh in on Aftersun or during the Love Island USA season 8 reunion later this summer.
