Beyoncé, blessed be her name, is joining Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour as a co-chairs of the 2026 Met Gala, which means she’s on the carpet early serving a LOOK. This is Bey’s first appearance at the annual gala in a decade, and all eyes were on her as she hit the carpet wearing what can only be described as a skeleton naked dress.

It’s…perfect.
The theme for this year’s exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is, aptly, “Costume Art,” and according to curator Andrew Bolton in Vogue, it’ll focus on “the centrality of the dressed body in the museum’s vast collection.” Meanwhile, the dress code for the Met Gala itself is “Fashion Is Art,” which “perfectly reflects the ethos of ‘Costume Art,’ which explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.”
So yes, Queen Bey nailed it.

By the way, Beyoncé showing up to the Met Gala for the first time in forever has had a major impact on the guest list, with multiple A-listers who normally skip set to attend the event. More on that this way.
