But a career in footography isn’t just a punch line or a backup plan. For professional creators of foot fetish content, it’s a very real job and a very real source of income. And, like all forms of sex work, it’s not easy: “It takes a lot of time and dedication to make a living off your feet,” says OnlyFans content creator Kiara Skye, who says her rates have increased significantly since she started selling feet content in 2016. According to Scarlett Venom, another OnlyFans creator, you need to do a lot more than snap a few pics to cash in—most people also sell other foot-adjacent products and services like custom videos and live chats. That means true footrepreneurs have to be models, producers, editors, cam girls, and more to actually turn a profit.
