Anna Delvey Promotes Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Home Delivery...
2026-05-07 · via Latest Content - Cosmopolitan

  • Anna Delvey was convicted in 2019 for grand larceny and theft, scamming banks, hotels, and people out of more than $200,000 from 2013 to 2017.
  • She has since appeared on Dancing With the Stars and hosted buzzy parties in her East Village apartment…while on house arrest.
  • Now, the fake heiress is poking fun at her 24/7 house arrest in a new ad for Gwyneth Paltrow’s restaurant, Goop.

Remember when you plopped down on your couch in 2022 and couldn’t help but keep your eyes locked in on the wild series of events that went down on Netflix’s Inventing Anna? Well, the show was partly based on real-life cons executed by Anna Delvey from 2013 to 2017 as she attempted to make a name for herself in the upper echelon of the New York City social scene…and, somehow, she’s still managed to do so, even after being convicted of her crimes in 2019.

So much so that Gwyneth Paltrow took notice and tapped Anna for her latest Goop campaign, which highlights the restaurant’s home delivery service from its new locations in the city. Honestly…who better to promote food delivery than someone who can’t even leave their house?

The spot starts with a zoomed-in shot of Anna’s infamous ankle monitor before showing a bag of Goop that reads, “Good, clean food is in this bag.”

“Can’t go out? Don’t be so dramatic,” Anna said, rolling her eyes as she grabbed the bag from her front door.

Anna was convicted in 2019 for grand larceny and theft, scamming banks, hotels, and people out of more than $200,000 when she acted as a fake heiress in NYC from 2013 to 2017.

According to the BBC, she was taken into custody by ICE for overstaying her visa just six weeks after being released from state prison on parole in March 2021. She’s been on 24/7 house arrest ever since—though the strict rules slightly loosened when she flew to L.A. to compete on Dancing With the Stars in 2024…and again two years later when she filmed Unwell Winter Games in Utah, where she was reportedly housed separately.

These days, Anna is reportedly shopping her memoir and looking for a publisher. Per Page Sixs publishing insiders, Anna’s self-written memoir is “doing the rounds of major publishers as we speak” and is being repped by Ultra Literary’s Peter McGuigan, who sold Jeanette McCurdy’s memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, for seven figures in 2022.

As for what she’ll say in the upcoming book? “It’s unclear what exactly she’ll cover in the book, but we’re told Delvey, née Sorokin, is penning it herself without a ghostwriter,” Page Six reports.

Well, it seems like things are looking up for her since Bunnygate last year!
