Today, Elastic is joining NVIDIA and other industry leaders as an inaugural member of the Open Secure AI Alliance. As part of the alliance, Elastic will contribute its expertise in open security, large-scale search, and AI-powered detection to help make AI systems more transparent, observable, and secure.

The Open Secure AI Alliance

With a mission to accelerate innovation while strengthening AI security, Open Secure AI Alliance members will focus on expanding AI safety and security through open research and shared tooling. The alliance reflects a shared belief that security improves when defenders can collaborate openly rather than relying on isolated intelligence. As AI evolves rapidly, the goal is to develop methodologies and tools that identify and patch vulnerabilities as fast as they emerge — something Elastic has championed for years. This creates a defensive capability where critical intelligence is shared, not locked inside a small number of closed systems.

Elastic has embodied an open source philosophy from the start, contributing to the advancement of open source software. Our Jina AI models are open weight, enabling developers to inspect, deploy, and build on the same models that power AI search and retrieval. That same commitment extends to our published threat research and security innovation, turning world-class research into world-class protection through enhancements to detection, triage, and response in our tools. Our strengths in cybersecurity, observability, generative AI (GenAI), and agentic AI align directly with the Open Secure AI Alliance mission to serve the security needs of enterprises and agencies pursuing AI today.

• Modernizing SecOps with AI-driven security analytics to detect, investigate, and respond before threats have a chance
