Are.na sharing
Justin Duke · 2025-05-09 · via Buttondown's blog

The ritual of cross-posting your newsletter to different platforms after sending continues to get slightly less painful. Today, I'm happy to announce that you can now share your newsletters directly to Are.na channels through Buttondown's automation system.

Are.na has become a favorite platform for creators, designers, and thinkers to collect and connect ideas. Now you can automatically add your newsletter content to your channels, reaching your audience where they're already finding inspiration.

Setting it up is simple:

  1. Connect your Are.na account in the Integrations page
  2. Create an automation that triggers when you send an email
  3. Choose your channel and customize your post content

This joins our growing family (that's right, this conglomeration of various social networks is a family) of social integrations alongside LinkedIn, Tumblr, and others, making it seamless to share your writing across the platforms where your audience spends their time and eliminate the modern drudgery of manually moving File A from Network B to Network C. Excelsior!

Check out the Are.na integration docs for more details.
