Okay, two bits of housekeeping:

  1. We have this lovely feature called "autonomy" that lets subscribers change metadata, tags, and more. While this feature is, as aforementioned, lovely, the name is not. We're gonna start referring to it as something else — probably "The Portal", because it sounds evocative of 90's WIRED vibes ("The Information Superhighway" and all that). So apologies in advance for any confusion.
  2. The portal is kind of.. ugly? Right now. We're working on it. But it does it's job.

And now, it does another job: it lets subscribers change their email address. You don't have to do anything special to enable this if you've got the Portal enabled.

We've got a nice slate of work planned for the Portal (or "The Portal", or "Autonomy", or whatever you want to call it). There are lots of little friction points of managing subscribers as your readership grows, and our high-level vision is to be able to say "just tell them to go to the portal page and we take it from there."
