The aim of these webinars is to give students who are considering applying to the University of Cambridge an insight into the breadth of the degree programmes we offer; the content and research that is involved; and the teaching style that is used.

Physics at Work with Mr Theo Weinberger

Thursday 4th June from 5-6pm (GMT)

This webinar will focus on the topics of superconductivity, magnetism, electricity and energy, and it will including a number of practical experiments. Mr Weinberger will also address the use of physics in real world contexts, such as nuclear fusion and content computing.

Theo Weinberger is the Murray Edwards Henslow Fellow in Physics and his focusses are quantum and condensed matter.
