The Exploring Law course is free to access and complete. It can be accessed via the Exploring Law course page on the FutureLearn online course platform. To take the course, you only need to follow a very simple registration process.

If you opt to enrol on the course for free, you will have full access to the course for six weeks. During that time, the six course modules will become available to you on a weekly basis, and you can work through each module, as it becomes available, at your own pace. Although FutureLearn describes this as "limited access", you will enjoy the full course experience during your free enrolment, and you will be supported throughout that time by our course facilitators.

The course is offered twice a year, beginning in the last week in January and the third week in July.

The course will re-start on 13 July 2026. You can register for the course immediately via the Exploring Law course page, and at any time before 24 August 2026.
