IIM Kozhikode (IIMK) and Bloomberg has announced the launch of a Bloomberg Finance Lab with 12 terminals, to strengthen graduate financial skills and industry readiness.

The lab equips students with access to industry-leading data, analytics, and market intelligence tools used by financial professionals worldwide, strengthening their ability to make informed, evidence-based decisions in an increasingly data-driven investment landscape.

IIMK has consistently sought to align its academic programmes with the demands of the evolving global economy. The addition of the Bloomberg Finance Lab deepens this commitment, bringing professional-grade financial tools into the teaching and research environment, said a press release.

The Bloomberg Finance Lab will serve as a bridge between classroom learning and the realities of global financial markets. By providing students with access to industry-leading data, analytics and market intelligence tools, IIM Kozhikode aims to build practical market skills and strengthen their ability to make informed, evidence-based decisions.

Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode, said: “As financial markets become increasingly interconnected and data-driven, experiential learning is no longer optional.
