Scale up, speed up: Join us at Dash in July!
2018-02-14 · via Datadog | The Monitor blog

We’re excited to announce the launch of Dash, a new conference about building and scaling the next generation of applications, infrastructure, and technical teams. The first-ever Dash takes place in New York City on July 11 and 12.

What to expect at Dash

The two-day conference brings together more than 1,000 engineers across dev and ops who are taking their systems and organizations to the next level of velocity, performance, reliability, and scale. Dash features a mix of keynotes, breakout sessions, and hands-on labs and trainings. We have also built in plenty of opportunities to make new connections and exchange ideas with your peers, including a rooftop cocktail reception to cap off the conference.

Dash will be held at the beautiful Spring Studios in Tribeca.

Conference tracks

Dash’s breakout sessions follow three themed tracks:

  • Performance: Learn to build faster applications and systems that deliver better user experiences.
  • Scalability: Pick up tips on scaling systems while ensuring resilience and availability.
  • Teams: Get leadership advice around growing teams, inter-team collaboration (a.k.a. DevOps), and using data to accelerate and inform decision-making.

You can learn more about the agenda on the Dash website.

Speakers

Dash will feature speakers from companies such as Google, Shopify, and Airbnb who are on the front lines of developing scalable, resilient, high-performance applications and teams. You can learn how DraftKings solved unique database load challenges after shifting to a microservices-based architecture; how Segment’s culture of shared knowledge helps them respond to outages; how Google sets appropriate service level indicators to maintain optimal site reliability; and more. Learn about these and the other conference speakers on the Dash website.

Join us at Dash

Registration is now open. Register now to secure early bird pricing and to book a discounted hotel room near the venue. We look forward to seeing you in NYC in July!
