On October 23, all WebPageTest users will start using WebPageTest fully integrated within the Catchpoint Internet Performance Monitoring (IPM) platform, bringing a modern interface, familiar workflows, and powerful capabilities that provide a comprehensive view of digital performance in one place.

Why the upgrade

Today’s web is more complex than ever, making world class digital experiences harder to deliver. Here’s why this evolution matters:  

• Page speed alone is no longer enough: Today, performance means understanding every factor that impacts your users, from browser rendering to CDN routing, DNS resolution, SSL, third party components, cloud services, APIs, and network reliability.

• End-to-end visibility is now critical: With this upgrade, WebPageTest now combines deep front-end visibility with comprehensive Internet performance insight, enabling teams to go beyond page-level metrics and master the full user experience.

Key dates:  

• Available now: The new WebPageTest is already live for all Pro users in the Catchpoint Portal.

• October 15: The upgrade will also become available to Starter Plan users, opening up access to everyone ahead of the full migration.

• October 23: Launch day. All users will officially transition to the new WebPageTest within the Catchpoint Portal.

  No. Your existing workflows, test configurations, and results will remain intact. You’ll simply gain access to an improved interface and new capabilities.
