Date/Time: April 23rd, 2026 | 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. EDT

Join the NIST NCCoE for a virtual event on April 23rd, 2026, to highlight their recently published practice guide NIST SP 1800-42A, Digital Identities Mobile Driver’s Licenses: Accelerating Development and Adoption of Digital Identity for Financial Institutions.

This document demonstrates how mDLs can be implemented as part of identity verification flows to improve customer experience while reducing cybersecurity and fraud risks. During this webinar, the team will provide an overview of this 1800-series practice guide and a status update on the second use case—using an mDL for citizen-to-government services.
