Salesforce Ranked #1 CRM Provider for 13th Consecutive Year

International Data Corporation (IDC) has ranked Salesforce as the #1 CRM provider in its latest Worldwide Semiannual Software Tracker. This is the 13th consecutive year Salesforce has earned the top spot in the CRM market.*

IDC is a premier global market intelligence firm widely cited as a top source for market data. According to IDC, in 2025, Salesforce led all CRM vendors with a 20.0% market share. 

Salesforce’s long-standing leadership

Beyond the top CRM ranking, Salesforce maintains leadership across core applications, ranking #1 in Sales for the 14th consecutive year, #1 in Customer Service for the 13th consecutive year, and #1 in Marketing for the seventh consecutive year. Salesforce also held the #1 spot in Model-Driven Application Platforms for the 11th consecutive year, Enterprise Community for the 11th consecutive year, and Integration for the fourth consecutive year.

Agent Build and Deploy standings

For the first time, IDC published market shares for the Agent Build and Deploy market, which is currently in a state of hypergrowth. Salesforce grew faster than any other player in this category and took the #2 position with a 17.5% market share.**
