JMGO Launches New Ultra-Bright 4K Projector With World First 3-In-1 Optical System
John Archer, · 2026-04-28 · via Forbes - Innovation

Projector brand JMGO has today launched a new ultra-bright projector that it claims carries the world’s first 3-in-1 integrated optical system for enhanced set up.

The $2,999 (or $2,399 if you buy one by May 13) JMGO N3 Ultimate carries a triple-laser lighting system said to pump out a colossal 5,800 ISO lumens of maximum brightness. That should be enough to make pictures fun to watch even in quite bright ambient conditions, or make movies and TV shows look ultra punchy in dark room settings. it also potentially makes the N3 Ultimate much more capable of coping with high dynamic range video than most projectors are.

The JMGO pumps out 5,800 ISO lumens of brightness, and features a 3-in-1 optical set up system.

The 3-in-1 optical system JMGO is keen to highlight with the N3 Ultimate refers to the projector’s combination of a four-way lens shift adjustment (Vertical ±130%, Horizontal ±53%), an exceptionally flexible 0.88-1.7:1 range of optical zoom, and what JMGO calls an “AI gimbal”.

The AI Gimbal is basically a physical cradle the projector hangs in combined with an AI Spatial Memory function that also draws on the four-way lens shift and optical zoom features to allow users to easily and immediately switch the N3 Ultimate’s images between different locations – even on different walls – without any need to physically touch the projector.

Pictures wherever you want them

The AI Spatial Memory can store preferred screen size, optimized image settings and even the specific apps you prefer to use for different image placement set ups. The projector can even automatically open up the app you’ve got connected with a particular image position and size configuration you’ve established. This all adds up to a clear convenience step up from projectors that can only automatically optimize their images after you’ve physically moved your projector around. The AI Gimbal feature operates across a vertical range of 150 degrees, and a horizontal movement range of a full 360 degrees.

MORE FOR YOU

More predictably but no less importantly, the N3 Ultimate also carries Optical Image Optimization. This is designed to automatically correct image geometry and focus, but unlike similar systems on many of today’s projectors, it tries to prioritize optical adjustments to achieve the optimal image finish, rather than applying traditional keystone adjustment techniques that typically reduce brightness and sharpness.

The net result of the 3-in-1 optical system is that the N3 Ultimate can essentially overcome the placement, angle and other set up issues usually associated with lifestyle projectors at the press of a single button.

The JMGO N3 Ultimate is a 4K projector, as you would expect of a $2,999 model, while its HDR support extends to the relatively advanced Dolby Vision format as well as the usual HDR10 and HLG systems. Dolby Vision adds extra scene by scene picture information to the data stream, as well as adjusting images to take account of the specific screen size you’re using. JMGO claims that its new projector can deliver measured color accuracy of 0.7 (miles below the 3.0 threshold beyond which errors might become visible to the human eye), as well as producing 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut.

The JMGO N3 Ultimate's connections are built into the bass of its support cradle.

The JMGO N3 Ultimate carries a built in Dolby audio system, while its pictures and connections (which comprise two HDMIs and a USB port) are powered by the MT9679 SoC and 8445 Driver. This enables the projector to support such gaming-friendly features as variable refresh rates, latency that’s claimed to get as low as 1ms, and refresh rates up 240Hz.

The N3 Ultimate is available now via either JMGO’s own website or Amazon – and don’t forget that if you want to buy one for $2,399/€2,499 rather than $2,999/€2,999, you’ll need to do so by May 13.
