Senior researcher Luis Fernando García participated in a Conversatorio Regional hosted by CELS, ODIA, Democracia en Red, and Vía Libre on “Technologies of state surveillance, democratic control, and protection of civil space.” 

Fernando García spoke about the abuse of spyware, mass surveillance and advertising intelligence by governments across Latin America.
