IT services firm Coforge on Monday said it has promoted Sunil Fernandes to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In his new role, Fernandes will oversee global delivery along with key company operations, including administration, facilities and internal IT services, Coforge said in a statement.
Based in Princeton, New Jersey (USA), he will continue to report to Coforge Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Sudhir Singh.
Holding over 30 years of experience, Fernandes has been serving as the company's Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) since 2024.
Before joining Coforge, he held leadership roles at major tech firms, including Accenture, Infosys, ad Cognizant.
"Sunil has a combination of leadership skills, technical expertise and strategic thinking, which will be critical to transforming Coforge's operations to support our growth ambitions," Singh said.
As Chief Operating Officer, Fernandes will be responsible for strengthening the company's execution capabilities and scaling its operations, while also driving the accelerated adoption of AI-native practices across engineering, delivery and internal operations.
