Having fun setting up the COM+ connector for Enterprise Portal for
Axapta 3 SP3
Eventually did the following to get it to work:
1. Created a domain account for the service to use
2. Add the domain user as the dbo for the Axapta database
3. Create an admin user in Axapta mapping to the domain account
4. In the configuration tool add the user in the User box on the general
tab.
5. On the Business Connector tab enter the password for the domain
service account and register the COM+ comopnent.
6. In windows component services set the identity to the domain service
account.
7. Restart the COM+ component.
8. Launch Axapata and from administration - Setup - Internet -
Parameters run the test from Business Connector Status and all should be
good.
Took 1/2 a day to get there, but it seems fairly stable and i have been
able to reproduce the setup.
