Desktop session switching (specifically, entering Desktop mode) in Steam Gaming mode is broken on the new update. I suspect this is because of the new SteamOS update? Steam now uses steamos-manager to query available desktop sessions and trigger desktop session switching -- SteamOS 3.8 The upgrade that (probably) caused this: steam-jupiter-stable-1.0.0.85-10 and steam-1.0.0.85-7 are in conflict. Remove steam?
