I believe it is a networking issue. Below are examples of attempting to sync my databases. I’m getting lots of connection resets by peer. In addition when browsing the web I occasionally have searches hang. Video playback is fine, but there are buffers that would mask a short term network issue. When I run a speed test while monitoring my wireless throughput the traffic is spikes and zero’s. Despite still averaging 300m down and my rate limited 60m up. I thought I had it sorted a while back. At the time I believe I was working on DNS in both my router, and my local OS configs. Recently I performed a hard reset on the router and brought it back up on a configuration I saved minutes before the reset. And now the weather report is flaky, as is the occasional search, or delayed video start. I am unable to contribute the problems to DNS. This is on an MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) with a brodcom chipset. I had another Dell machine also running CachyOs that exhibited similar issues, but have since changed the OS on that machine. I had some downloads fail on Mac OS last week. Which leads me to believe I’m having TCP issues as I can run ping without issue. Video (UDP) without issue. Speed tests (also believed to be UDP) without issue. I have much more troubleshooting to complete.
