Hey friends, As the title states…. I just picked up a 5070 to upgrade my aging 980ti and I’m wondering if this will be a plug and play swap or if I have to do anything before hand? I’m under the impression that the 980ti is capped at the 580.xx drivers whereas the 5070 can use the 595.xx drivers. Should/will I need to install the updated driver before swapping GPU’s or will the 5070 run on the old driver and allow me to update to the new driver? Thanks for you time 🙂
