You can take a look at my post here, i have the same problem: Vboxdrv 7.2.8 stalls the booting process on the 7.0.0-1-cachyos kernel Basically, the problem is the vboxdrv kernel module. You can fix it by creating a file: /etc/modprobe.d/vbox-fix.conf and adding this line: blacklist vboxdrv However, this will prevent you vbox from working. This is a temporary workaround and we have to wait for a full fix.
