So I had a problem with Cachyos which ended up with me reinstalling the os as I had crashed it and have no idea how to restore (it was restoring to a previous point that caused the crash). After new installation, the system went through its reboot to the login, allowing me to login without problem. However, when logged in I rebooted before doing anything else to the system. I get the bootloader and the screen then changes to scroll text down the screen. It then goes blank with only the cursor visable. It never loads the login screen so I am unable to go any further. I have tried 2 different usb’s to install from and downloaded the os 3 times . Nothing appears to be wrong here. I could understand a corruption if it did not boot initially but it does. I have also tried using the grub loader and the limine but both give the same results. The system is set up manually to allow me to put the /home directory on a seperate drive, leaving the /boot and / partitions on the first drive My pc has sufficent spes (i71400k cpu with amd rx 9060 xt gpu and 64gb ram), so its not that. It ran well before I crashed it. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong and how I can correct it please? As simple as possible please as I am fairly new to linux.
