Hi all, I’m experiencing a strange issue on CachyOS: whenever I clone any Neovim plugin repository (for example, lualine.nvim) that contains a file named init.lua , that file is always missing after the clone. This happens for all users, all directories (including /tmp), and even as root. There are no SELinux/AppArmor restrictions, no git filters, no cron jobs, and no antivirus running. The filesystem is btrfs, but the problem also occurs on tmpfs. Manually downloading or creating an init.lua works fine. Other files in the repo are present—only init.lua is missing. Upgrading/downgrading git and the kernel did not help. No errors in dmesg or btrfs logs. The issue persists after reboot and across all filesystems. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea what could cause it? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
