Hi! I’m having a bit of trouble getting my Dell to get the SecureBoot keys registered on the BIOS. After following all the instructions, and changing Secureboot from ‘Audit mode’ back to the original ‘Deployed Mode’, I get the following GRUB crash:
Error: kern/efi/sb.c:shim_lock_verifier_init:177:prohibited by secure boot policy.

Any ideas what can I do to get the keys properly registered? The BIOS seem to have a dedicated key “manager” thing that allows you to download the .db file, edit manually on your own means and upload it back, overwriting the existing one. I’m not sure if something so…extreme is needed. I had no problem installing KDE Neon, as far as I can remember…

If you can just go into your BIOS and disable it. Unless you’re also dual booting WinBLOWS there is no legitimate reason to use it.
I dual boot with windows.
