14-MAN LOUTH HAVE beaten Monaghan to advance to their first All-Ireland senior football semi-final since 1957.

Louth led by two points ahead at half-time, 0-12 to 1-7, despite losing Sean Callaghan to a straight red card in the seventh minute and shipping a goal to Oisin McGorman. They conceded another goal to Stephen O’Hanlon in the second half, but powered on for glory.
