The best friends appeared on last year’s Late Late Toy Show, where they showed off their vocal skills and shared some of their favourite toys.

On the night, the boys were asked to sing a song each, with Keelan choosing Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved.

Keelan spoke on the show about how much he loves Capaldi, telling host Patrick Kielty how he has inspired him by opening up about his Tourette's Syndrome.

The 10-year-olds, who captured the hearts of the nation with their close friendship, were moved to tears by a special recording sent to them by Capaldi, inviting them to his Irish show at Marlay Park.

The surprise began when the pair were collected and chauffeured to the concert, with Gardaí escorting them into the venue before they were given fast-track and VIP access.

Just before Capaldi took to the stage, Keelan and Dylan were brought to the artist area, where the singer surprised them, chatting with the boys and posing for photographs.

The boys, who enjoyed the show from the front row, were later spotted by Capaldi from the stage, who pointed them out and dedicated a song to them during his set.

"These lads in the front row, this is Keelan and Dylan in the front row, everybody," Capaldi said to a cheering crowd.

On Thursday, Capaldi was announced as Electric Picnic’s Friday night headliner. 

He will join fellow headliners Gorrilaz, Fontaines D.C., CMAT, Sombr, and Zara Larsson at Stradbally this summer.
