Formula 1 Betting: 2026 Austrian Grand Prix opening odds,...
Keagan Smith · 2026-06-25 · via DraftKings Network

The 2026 Austrian Grand Prix is this weekend! Here are the details you need to know with opening odds and the full field for the latest Formula 1 event.

We finally got a new winner two weeks ago in the most recent Formula 1 event. After a brief hiatus, the grid roars to life again this week with the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix. There’s certainly some intrigue surrounding this one as Lewis Hamilton is driving the best he has in ages, plus the circuit and the surrounding scenery provide excitement with a side of beauty.

The latest leg of the F1 calendar takes place at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, June 28. Here, we’ll dive in with a look at the odds and lines leaderboard for the Austrian Grand Prix courtesy of F1 betting markets on DraftKings Sportsbook.

2026 Austrian Grand Prix odds, field

To the surprise of nobody, Mercedes’ wunderkind Kimi Antonelli remains atop the leaderboard on DraftKings Sportsbook. After all, the 19-year-old claimed five consecutive victories earlier in the campaign prior to Barcelona-Catalunya, where he was a DNF. However, he’ll surely be back in the mix with better mechanical luck as a +200 favorite to win in Austria with -350 odds to finish on the podium.

There’s a new, but old, challenger near the top of the odds leaderboard as well. Veteran Lewis Hamilton is in the midst of his best stretch yet since joining Ferrari after winning last time out and finishing second in the two prior races. With four podium results this year after a disappointing 2025, he seems to finally be hitting his stride in red. Now, he’s listed at +300 odds to win and -200 odds for a podium finish in the Austrian Grand Prix.

Hamilton’s odds are identical to Antonelli’s Mercedes teammate. George Russell was somewhat off his game and missed out on the top-five in Canada and Monaco, but he got back on the board at second in Spain. He’s been usurped by his younger counterpart, but remains a threat in any given race thanks to his team’s reliability — even if the FIA closed the loophole that allowed Mercedes’ power to run hot at times not too long ago.

With the three favorites out of the way, there’s the remainder of realistic shots to take top spots. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc comes off a pair of DNFs but sits fourth in odds at a split of +700/+105. Ideally, he’s finally able to finish a grand prix for the first time in what’s now approaching a month. He’s tailed by Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen, who had finishes of third and fourth surrounding a DNF in Monaco in early June. He holds +850 odds to win at +200 for the top three. That value is nearly identical to McLaren’s Lando Norris at a +900/+200 split, who finished third last time out but has experienced mechanical issues throughout the year. Teammate Oscar Piastri comes in at +1800 to win with +450 odds for the podium.

One more note is that Isack Hadjar, also of Red Bull Racing, seems to be making a push alongside his teammate. He finished fifth in Canada, fourth in Monaco and sixth at Barcelona-Catalunya, marking one of the best stretches of his career. He’s listed at +20000 to win and +1800 for a podium result, but it’s still worth mentioning that his team may be making strides.

The remainder of the field comes in at much longer odds to win the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, holding a minimum of +13000 odds to even record a podium result. It includes the following racers, with the figures next to their names indicating odds of a top-10 finish rather than a win or podium appearance:

  • Pierre Gasly (-175)
  • Liam Lawson (-175)
  • Franco Colapinto (+140)
  • Arvid Lindblad (+100)
  • Nico Hulkenberg (+150)
  • Gabriel Bortoleto (+185)
  • Alexander Albon (+400)
  • Oliver Bearman (+400)
  • Esteban Ocon (+500)
  • Carlos Sainz (+400)
  • Valtteri Bottas (+2500)
  • Sergio Perez (+1800)
  • Lance Stroll (+4000)
  • Fernando Alonso (+400)
