Two of the best Heavyweights in the world, Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois, will face off for the WBO Heavyweight Championship on Saturday, May 9, at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom. This is Wardley’s first defense of the title after being promoted in November 2025. Dubois is a former IBF Heavyweight Champion but is coming off a devastating loss to Oleksandr Usyk in July 2025.

If Wardley can get past Dubois, he could make a case for a matchup against Usyk, who currently holds the WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring Heavyweight titles. Dubois is 22-3 with 21 knockouts, while Wardley is 20-0-1 with 19 by knockout. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Wardley is a -125 favorite while Dubois is the underdog at +100.

Two Welterweight contenders, Jack Rafferty and Ekow Essuman, are facing off in a 10-round bout in the co-main event of this card. Rafferty is undefeated with a 26-0-1 record with 17 knockouts, while Essuman is 22-2 and is coming off a loss to Jack Catterall in November 2025. Rafferty is a -285 favorite while Essuman is the underdog at +220.

David Morell, who is 12-1 with nine knockouts, is facing Zak Chelli on this card. After suffering his first career loss, Morell got back in the win column against Imam Khataev in July 2025. His opponent, Chelli, is 16-3-1 and is 3-2 in his previous five contests. Morell is a massive -1800 favorite while Chellio is a +850 underdog.
