Check out the latest updates regarding Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach’s injury status after he left Monday’s game against the Dodgers.
Minnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach exited Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers early, possibly due to injury.
There’s no official word yet on whether the move came as a result of an injury to Larnach, but he was replaced in the third inning by pinch hitter Austin Martin. Larnach did make a leaping grab at the outfield wall earlier in the night, so it’s possible that if this is injury related, something could have happened on that play.
Either way, Larnach will be eligible for DraftKings’ Early Exit program as he left prior to his second plate appearance.
The veteran outfielder went 0-for-1 with a strikeout in his lone plate appearance vs. the Dodgers.
The 29-year-old is in the midst of a career-best campaign, slashing .281/.378/.427 for an .805 OPS. In 64 games, he has 56 hits with 35 runs, 24 RBI and five home runs.
The Twins are 38-41, third in the AL Central prior to the conclusion of tonight’s game against Los Angeles.
Stay tuned to DK Network for the latest injury updates as they become available.
