Ryan Wohl details his best bet for Pat Sabatini vs. William Gomis at tonight’s UFC 328 numbered event.
An intriguing Featherweight contest on tonight’s UFC 328 Early Prelims is between Pat Sabatini vs. William Gomis. Sabatini is currently on a three-fight winning streak with his last victory against Chepe Mariscal at UFC 322 in November 2025. Gomis is 5-1 in the UFC and beat Robert Ruchała in his previous contest in September 2025. The UFC 328 Early Prelims begin at 5:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.
Check out my best bet for Pat Sabatini vs. William Gomis, which is on the UFC 328 Early Prelims.
In this contest, Gomis is taller (6’0″ vs. 5’8″) with a reach advantage (73″ vs. 70″). Offensively, Gomis has the edge on the feet as he averages 3.48 significant strikes per minute, 1.79 more than Sabatini. But Sabatini is more accurate (59% vs. 49%) and only absorbs 1.09 significant strikes per minute. Sabatini’s best area is on the ground, where he lands 4.48 takedowns per 15 minutes at a 50 percent rate.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Sabatini is a -166 favorite with Gomis being a +140 underdog. The over/under is set at 2.5 rounds with the over being -175 and the under at +135.
Although Gomis has a 72 percent takedown defense rate, I think Sabatini can get the fight to the ground if he’s aggressive enough. Since Sabatini is the smaller fighter, he will need to set the pace from the start. Sabatini is the more well-rounded fighter and should be able to pick up the victory in this contest.
