Blake Krass breaks down what happened on Season 13 Episode 26 of Love Island UK, including the heart rate challenge.
Love Island UK is rolling along with another great season. Episode 26 features the highly intensive and iconic Heart Rate Challenge. Here is a full recap of what happened in this episode.
The episode picked up where Episode 25 left off, with Aidan sharing with the group that he would rather be coupled up with Yasmin than Tina. Meanwhile, Kavan got himself into some trouble for defending his brother. Jasmine was not happy about his stance on the whole thing, or how he responded to Jasmine’s criticism. The confrontations continued as Simba addressed the fact that Tommy threw him under the bus to the girls earlier that day. It turned into a big blowout between the two guys, as Simba insisted that Tommy had gone about everything the wrong way in the villa.
The newest love triangle in the villa continued to cause issues. Samraj and Mica continued to hit things off, and even Priya could tell that she was no longer the primary option. Samraj and Priya discussed the fact that she would be taking a step back so that he could pursue things with Mica. The following day, Tina and Aidan got into another argument and decided that they would no longer pursue their relationship either.
Up next, the text arrived that the islanders would be taking part in the world-famous Heart Rate Challenge. That is where each islander has to put on a sexy dance for the opposite sex. It will then be revealed who each islander got their heart rate raised the most by. There will also be an overall team winner between the boys and the girls.
For a multitude of reasons, I won’t be breaking down the details of every performance. One of the suitable-for-work highlights included almost every single girl going to Lorenzo and letting him know, “This could have been us.” All of the girls made their intentions clear about who they were interested in, including Mica going for Samraj.
The episode ended after all of the girls had gotten their chance to dance. That means the next episode will start off with the boys having their turn, followed by the results of the heart rate challenge. Iain Sterling also announced that there would be a vote, where the public chooses its favorite boy and favorite girl. As always, that means a dumping is coming soon.
Here is how the couples stand at the moment:
New episodes of Love Island UK come out every day at 3 a.m. ET – although one episode a week will be an Unseen Bits compilation special, for eight weeks.
While Love Island UK airs on ITV2 in the United Kingdom, the show is available to stream in the United States on Hulu. Meanwhile, Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
Season 13 of Love Island will include around 50 episodes, with the eight-week season likely set to conclude in late July.
