Zach Thompson lists the full field for the 2026 Truist Championship and the odds for the tournament on DraftKings Sportsbook.
For the final tournament before the PGA Championship, the PGA TOUR is headed to Charlotte, North Carolina for a second straight Signature Event. After the Cadillac Championship in Miami, the top golfers in the game will head to Quail Hollow Golf Club for this week’s Truist Championship.
The Truist Championship debuted in 2003 as the Wachovia Championship and had the name of the Wells Fargo Championship and the Quail Hollow Championship before Truist stepped in as title sponsor last year.
The first tournament with the name “Truist Championship” had to be held at the Wissahickon Course at the Philadelphia Cricket Club last year since Quail Hollow was hosting the PGA Championship the following week.
Sepp Straka won the Truist Championship in Philadelphia, while Scottie Scheffler won the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow with Harris English, Davis Riley and Bryson DeChambeau tied for second.
As a Signature event, the Truist Championship features a limited field with no cut. The purse is elevated to $20 million total, with $3.6 million as the top prize, along with 700 FedExCup points.
The field is once again a very strong one, although Scottie Scheffler is passing up the event to prepare for next week’s major. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is the biggest name in the field that includes 40 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
