Blake Krass shares his top fantasy baseball Pick6 picks and plays for the Saturday MLB slate. Check ’em out here!
The MLB season is heating up. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.

Ozzie Albies has been one of the best hitters in baseball against left-handed pitchers this season. He has a 1.014 OPS against lefties this season, the 12th-best mark in baseball among qualified hitters. He is also batting .367 against lefties, the fourth-best mark in baseball. Just as impressive is Albies’ strikeout rate against lefties. He has a 4.8% K-percentage against left-handers, the second-best figure in baseball. Albies should keep that going against Blake Snell in his season debut. Snell is making his first start of the season and could have some serious rust. Albies should take advantage of that and generate some runs against Snell. Last season, Albies had a two-RBI double against Snell when the Braves faced the Dodgers. He should have another great game this time around and get over this hits + runs + RBIs number.

Clay Holmes has been excellent for the Mets this season. He has a 1.69 ERA, the third-best mark in baseball among eligible pitchers. Holmes also has a 0.98 WHIP, the 14th-best mark in baseball. His strikeout numbers have also been high in his last couple of outings. Holmes has struck out six batters in each of his last two starts. He should keep it going against Arizona. The Diamondbacks have been a low strikeout team this season, but Nolan McLean threw six strikeouts in his start for the Mets last night. Holmes has been going deep into starts, making it at least six innings in each of his past three starts. That type of length should get him to four strikeouts, even against a disciplined lineup. Holmes has hit that mark in five of seven starts this season and in each of his past two starts.

Jake McCarthy is having a solid season for Colorado. The left-handed outfielder is batting .286 with an .869 OPS. He has been on fire over the past week, with five hits, eight RBIs and three runs scored in his past four games. McCarthy should keep it going against Aaron Nola and the Phillies. Nola has struggled this season, sporting a 5.06 ERA. McCarthy has also been great against Nola in his career. McCarthy is 6-of-13 with two doubles, a triple and two home runs in his career against Nola. That results in a career OPS of 1.693. Nola has actually been worse at home this season, with a 5.40 ERA in Philadelphia. He has also struggled against left-handed batters, allowing an opponent’s OPS of .909 against lefties. Jake McCarthy should keep up his great career numbers against the struggling Aaron Nola.
Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
