The Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” blends Jordan Brand history with colors and themes that echo Roman Reigns’ WWE sneaker legacy.
Jordan Brand is set to release another sneaker in its “Bloodline” colorway, but this time it has a different meaning. Although Nike and Jordan haven’t officially made the connection, there is a direct correlation between the new Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.
In WWE, the “Bloodline” refers to an iconic wrestling family consisting of Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa, among others. But it isn’t just a group on WWE television; they are all family in real life, making the word “Bloodline” carry a stronger meaning.

The “Bloodline” Air Jordan 12s are being released on May 23 at 10 a.m. ET on Nike’s SNKRS App among other retailers.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 12 was the first sneaker in the Air Jordan line to feature Zoom Air. For the “Bloodline” 12s, SNKRS notes that the colorway “pairs the signature black and Varsity Red colorway in premium leather and textiles, the sunrise-inspired stitch lines on the upper hook back to the original.” Those black and red tones just so happen to be a perfect match for the leader of WWE’s Bloodline himself, with Roman showing off an early look at the 12s at last month’s Wrestlemania.
