Tuesday’s NHL Playoff slate features two second-round matchups, with Canadiens vs. Sabres Game 4 set for 7:00 p.m. ET and Golden Knights vs. Ducks Game 5 set for 9:30 pm. ET.

Best anytime goal scorer picks for Tuesday 5/12/26

Alex Newhook Anytime Goalscorer (+310)

Newhook has recorded back-to-back two-goal games against the Sabres, and he ranks fourth among Canadiens’ forwards in total ice time. Plus, he has additional opportunities to find the back of the net on the second power play unit, and there have been a combined 25 power play opportunities across the first three games of the series. The Sabres are expected to make a goaltending switch from Alex Lyon to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for Game 4 tonight. This can mean two things: UPL is refreshed and locked in after watching from the bench the past seven games, or his jitters that got him benched in the first place are still present. Montreal is deadly offensively, especially compared to Boston, and I’d expect another high-scoring affair for the club.

Beckett Sennecke Anytime Goalscorer (+300)

Much like Newhook, Sennecke has found the back of the net regularly lately, netting a goal in each of his past three outings. This series has featured plenty of high-danger chances from both sides, and Carter Hart looked a bit shaky in Game 4, allowing four goals on just 23 shots. Anaheim’s second line, comprised of Alex Killorn, Mikael Granlund and Sennecke, has remained untouched this entire postseason, and familiarity can go a long way in the playoffs. Two of Sennecke’s past three goals came at even strength, but he netted a power play in the first period of Game 4, and he should see additional opportunities again tonight on the second power play unit. There have been a combined 27 power play opportunities across the first four games.
