All 30 MLB teams will play on Sunday, April 19, making for an exciting slate. Division matchups and star players headline the day as games begin early afternoon and finish with Sunday night action at 7:20 p.m. ET.

With so many matchups on deck, the options are endless for bettors. Before the start of Sunday’s contests, here are three MLB bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Chicago Cubs -1.5 (+156)

It’s been a rough stretch for the Mets as they lost their 10th straight on Saturday. The streak will end eventually, but not on Sunday against the Cubs. New York’s offense has been abysmal during this stretch, batting .203 with 1.8 runs per game as a team. To make matters worse, they’ve struck out 78 times to just 18 walks.

Pitching hasn’t necessarily been a problem, but it will be on Sunday. David Peterson is starting with a 6.41 ERA. He’s allowed 14 earned runs and 26 hits through 19.2 innings. The Cubs’ offense will relish in this opportunity.

White Sox vs. Athletics under nine runs (-105)

The Athletics and White Sox have gone over nine runs in both games of the series, but the third game will be different. Jeffrey Springs is starting for the Athletics amid a terrific campaign. He has a 1.46 ERA across 24.2 innings, allowing just 11 hits.

Springs won’t go nine innings, but he’ll quiet Chicago’s offense for long enough. The White Sox average 3.45 runs per game, which is the fourth worst rate in the majors. A late-inning offensive outburst would be detrimental to this bet, but it’s not a great enough risk to take the over.

Additionally, the Athletics average the 20th most runs per game this season. It’s not a dominant unit despite some exciting players atop the order.

Kansas City Royals ML (+123)

The Yankees are a much better team than the Royals. There’s no doubt about that, and the second game of this series is evidence of that. A 13-4 victory is dominant, but I believe New York cools off on Sunday.

Ryan Weathers is making his fifth start of the season in what’s been a rocky early tenure in New York. He’s struggled in two outings but also pitched eight innings of one run ball in between those games. Although the Royals have struggled this season, I’m not confident in Weathers to shut them down.
